prob scanning satellites

I have scanned 110 and got channels fr it working fine then I tried scanning 119 and all I get a duplicates of 110 how do I get the satellite to change to the one I want in the top right when I am in dish settings. I have a dish 500 dish and 1 lnb w/2 coaxial outlets going into port 1 and port 2 of my DiSEqc switch. with the receiver part obviously hooked up the the receiver. Because of the LNB I have can I only scan 1 110 and that's it or is there something wrong that I am doing that I should be able to do a sat scan of 119 and get those channels as well. Please advise.

make sure in your antenna settings that the diseqc switch is switched to 1 or 2 for each satellite (whichever sat is hooked up to 1 or 2) some channels are duplicates on 110 and 119 but if you are only getting 110 channels then somethings up

I have one LNB with 2 coaxials where one line is going into port 1 and the other into port 2 how do I determined which line in the one LNB is for 110 or 119 does it matter at that point as long as I do one scan under port one and the other one under port 2 is there something I am doing wrong that I don't know about. Can I only scan one satellite with one lnb with 2 coaxials?

well if you have 1 lnb you can only see 1 satellite at a time. 110 and 119 are not the same satellite so you need to point a second lnb and the second satellite.

lnb with 2 coaxial outputs is for more than 1 receiver to get the same satellite

If you are using a DP 500 then you only have to have one coax coming in to get both 110 and 119.
You put 119 on port 1 on your box and 110 on port 2.

k that makes sense if only one lnb then I can only scan one satellite my dish is a bell express vu dish made by dishnet work but they only provide us w/one lnb so once i get the new lnb I should be good to go then to scan another dish thanks for the help
