How to Scan Anik F3 118W Sat


Before you doing these, you should have correct dish/LNB point at Anik F3 118W satellite and getting good signal & quality.

1. Press MENU under INSTALLATION tag, selecting DISH SETTING.

2 in the Dish Setting, here is you set up the Antenna Config
A] High lite satellite name then press OK, now it will pop up in the new window with Satellite list, you have to scrolling up or down to look for ANIK E1 118.0W., press OK to select Anik F3 118W.

3. Set you LNB type, LNB Freq, and proper switch setting. Once you complete the Antenna Config, you should getting Quality level.

4. Now you can press the RED button to Scan Sat. Once it complete scanning, SAVE all information.

Note: If you not getting Quality level:


1. Make sure you get the right type of LNB, and it proper pointed to 118W.
2. Make sure you antenna config are set correct.
3. When you verify the Quality Level, make sure it set on 11715. If you still not get Qualtiy, with TRANSPONDER high lite, press OK, you will get all the Tansponders information list from Anik E1.
4. Now you will see there are 2 TP freq 11715, make sure you select TP Freq:11715 SYMB:20000 POL V FEC 7/8, and you should get the Quality level.


**** The Anik E1 sat contain both TP info from Anik E1 and Anik F3. So you might want to delete Anik E1 TP info and leave only Anik F3 info. You can go here hxxp://www.lyngsat.com/packages/dish119.htmlto get transponders information so you can delete the unwant TP. **********
