Default tinypot RS232 don't fit

I was already to try to install files for my nfusion, when I notice that I have a male female port on my laptop and my rs232 is also female. . On my laptop I have 15 holes on my port and the rs232 has 9 holes. What can I do to fix the problem? Can anyone help me?
