tinypot downloading file for the first time

I an going to try to download files for my nfusion for the first time. Is the file1.48.0 current or should I use another file?
How do I down load it to the nfusion. I know you hook up the cord from the nfusion to the laptop. I down load the file where? How do I transfer it to the nfursion? I would like to do this to day 9-27-08. Thanks Guys!
