Why You Should Do New Satellite Scan Often

I wanted to pass on an item you all should consider. As I'm sure most of you have noticed that there have been numerous channels being shuffled around, especially High Definition ones.
This has been particularly noticeable on [practically] a daily basis on both Echo 3 @ 61.5 and on Echo 5 @ 129. Within the last 3 monts, I deleted my channels from all birds in as many times, and found new channels, deleted channels, and moved channels on each scan. Some sports feeds that were just found the previous day, required a new scan in less than 24 hours due to the shuffle.

This may very well solve some of the posted problems with the bad or scrambled screens some are experiencing, on some channels.

It is a good practice and the best way to keep up with all the current changes.

Remember to go to the Channel Edit area first and delete the Satellite you are about to scan. This will only erase the channels and not the stored data, and will eliminate duplicate channels.This works for most of STBs. Enjoy it and good luck.
