Captain buyer beware!!!!

I got my 8000HD from GoSatellite in Feb '08. Before buying lady on phone said that I had a good exchange warrantee and support from their site and store. The receiver is a doorstop. Now, GoSatellite says it refunds only if you return the item within ten days buying it. That's longer than the turnaround time without trying out the set. Captainfta.com does not exchange, just promise over the phone a future fix.
The Captain 8000HD does not deliver true HD. The menus do not show in HD mode.
The folks at Captainfta in Canada sound like a nice bunch when someone answers the phone. But, their promises are empty and Joe G. the ever-promising fixit guru has yet to come through with a solution to my useless piece of .....
It is a gamble who you buy from and what it is that you are buying. This is a hobby and some makers of equipment are ripping off the hobbyists. I will never buy from GOSATELLITE again. I will never buy another Captain.

I agree with you this box is useless. i just bought one and was very disappointed. Does any one can recommend the better hd reciever in the market?
