Ariza Xtreme Reboot Step by Step Fix
- Download the Reboot Fix bin and unzip it.
- Download the factory file (S000c146-20000-1020A) and unzip it.
-Make sure your Xtreme is not plugged to the signal cable but that it is to the TV. It’s very important to have it plugged to the TV so you can see all your steps.
- Make sure you allow all updates to finish, not when the computer says complete, but when the receiver reboots itself and is finished, it is still doing the transfer and saving long after the computer shows complete.
- Launch the Loader software.
- Click browse and find the Reboot Fix bin.
- Make sure your receiver is OFF, by turning the power switch in the back OFF.
- Click start on the software and turn the receiver on by using the power switch button on the back of the receiver.
- Once the loading is complete the machine will turn on and then off.
- Turn the power off on the back of the unit.
- Click browse on the Loader software and find the Factory File and get ready to start the file but dont yet.
- Turn on the back of the receiver, and the first sign of life from the receiver, start the loader, its a timing thing and may take
a couple tries, maybe a touch sooner or a touch later, but its all timing and will work.
- Once the loading is complete the machine will turn on and then off. It is very important at this point you be patient and wait for the the recieiver to reboot itself COMPLETLY, do not disrupt the transfer when the computer says complete, or before the reciever has finished rebooting completly. Give it a minute or so after it reboots to make sure it is complete.
- Turn the receiver on by using the remote or pressing the power button in front of the receiver. Exit any menu that may appear.
- Click Menu, go to Advance and do a Reset to Factory Settings.
- Turn the receiver off, and then complete shut it off by using the switch in the back of the receiver.
- At this time you can just load the latest bin and do all your settings and scanning.
- Enjoy TV!!!!
Make sure that every time you load a file, your TV screen shows you that it is updating the box. This will ensure the files are loading properly.
